Apple Releases Mac OSX 10.4.9 for Intel and PPC

Apple today released what will be probably the last update for Tiger: Mac OS X 10.4.9 for Intel and PowerPC. They also released the update for Mac OS X Server 10.4.9 as well.

The update fixes a lot of things and adds a few as well. Included for download are your choice of combo or standard updater.

The 10.4.9 Update is recommended for PowerPC and Intel-based Mac computers currently running Mac OS X Tiger versions 10.4.0 through 10.4.7 and includes general operating system fixes, as well as specific fixes or compatibility updates for the following applications and technologies:

The 10.4.9 Server Update is recommended for all servers and includes fixes for the operating system and various applications, services and technologies. It includes fixes for:
