Adobe Releases Deets on Apollo

No, this isn't about that Battlestar Galactica guy, but rather the first spawn of the now merged Adobe and Macromedia.

From PDFZone - "Let the countdown begin for Apollo, one of the first fruits of the Adobe-Macromedia merger. The technology will be integrated into Flash Player and Adobe Reader, and will give developers the tools to create run-time apps that can be used offline without a browser, yet with the lower costs associated with Web development tools that require browsers."

It will be interesting to see how this develops. All I want is native versions of Photoshop and Fireworks...
